Open Court helps entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies take their business vision to the next level.
Open Court is a venue in which entrepreneurs and emerging growth businesses pitch their business plan to a group of business professionals who give them direct feedback on how to get their business to the next level.
Open Court is open to anyone who is willing to do the presentation preparation and is serious about starting a business or improving his or her existing business.
Many applicants come through referral from their accountants, attorneys, bankers, economic development contacts and regional colleges and universities.
There is no charge for Open Court. The feedback will be invaluable as you continue forward to bring your vision alive.
Open Court is the vision of Originate Ventures’ founder, Mike Gausling. As a successful entrepreneur, he saw the need for a venue where start-up and emerging businesses can receive guidance on successfully bringing their concepts to market and do so at little to no cost to them. Gausling sought out Compass Point to help him achieve and implement his vision. With a funding grant from Wall Street West, they have developed Open Court to help the region better groom these start-up and emerging companies, further developing innovation and talent in Pennsylvania.
