Compass Point Strategic and Business Planning

“Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion.

It’s kind of hell putting a jigsaw puzzle together if you lose the cover. Well, a lot of companies never had the box cover.”

ServicesStrategic & Business Planning

To successfully negotiate change, introduce new products or services or prepare for the coming year

Our clients seek strategic and business planning when they are facing changes in their market, new product or service introductions, launching a new venture, or as part of their annual business review and planning for the coming year. Strategy is the foundation for all other activity in the business.

Utilizing strategy concepts from some of the great thought leaders of our time including Michael Porter, David P. Norton, and Robert S. Kaplan, Compass Point has developed a simplified strategic planning process that helps our clients gain or regain their focus.

Compass Point Strategic &
Business Planning Process

What gets measured gets done!

Fundamentally, strategy is about three things:

  1. What are we going to sell?
  2. Who are we going to sell to?
  3. How are we going to be beat or avoid the competition?

The strategic planning process follows three additional questions:

  1. Where are we today?
  2. Where do we want to be tomorrow?
  3. What is the path to get there?

Depending on the organization’s needs and experience, our process can help an organization establish their strategic plan in a two day workshop, or a more comprehensive process that takes place over several days (split up into three or more segments to accommodate schedules).

Fundamentally, we help companies decide what to do, and even more importantly, what not to do. Let Compass Point help you find your True-North and put your company on the right track.
