Break Through the Ceilings of Complexity
All companies bump up to ceilings of complexity. They generally correspond to revenue points of $1M, $10M, $20M, $50M, $100M, $250M and up.  What got you to $1 million won’t get you to the $10 million.  And it is almost always a talent game.  It doesn’t mean you need to let everyone go (although some may have to go), but it does mean you are going to need new talent in key positions to get you to the next level. 

Start with the basics and manage growth as a process.
