As a Family Business Advisor, my work is centered on leadership, organizational culture, and strategy. When businesses bring these elements together effectively, the results from our work together multiply exponentially.
My Ph.D. level work focused on adult learning and change. I’ve taught leadership and organizational development at Columbia University and the International Institute for Restorative Practices Graduate School; where I served as President for seven years. I also attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and received an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership. Through my personal blog, Leading Conflict: How to Fight at Work, I explore leadership, conflict, and culture – topics I speak on frequently.
I value our work at Compass Point because I share the company’s belief that when family businesses succeed, our communities and country succeed as well. Bucks County is home and where I spend quality time with my wife Erin, our four children, and an ever-growing array of rescue pets. I also love MMA, hiking, and working with the animals on our mini-homestead.
