Over my career in leadership development, and now as a Family Business Consultant, I’ve seen that leadership isn’t just one part of the strategy – it’s the foundation. When it’s missing or misaligned, even the most exciting growth plans lose steam.
So why do so many companies pour time and effort into creating thoughtful, ambitious strategies only to feel like they’re spinning their wheels? More often than not, it comes down to a leadership gap.
A strategic plan without leadership is like a ship without a captain. It’s leadership that translates vision into reality, keeps people focused and connected, and creates a culture of accountability and momentum. Without it, even the most well-intentioned strategies gather dust.
